Canton Lions Club is seeking sponsors for our Train Booth and Rides at the annual Riverfest event, Sept. 26 & 27!

We have opportunities in our Train Ride Program Guide for 1/4 page ads and business card size ads, and for the train ride, there are riding car signs and mile marker posts sponsorships available.

The Train Ride Booth at Riverfest is one of several fundraising initiatives we host to support community projects and programs.

Stop by and see 👓 what we are all about, this Saturday at the Canton Farmers Market!

Make plans to attend the Canton Farmers Market this Sat., July 11, for a very special Community Day!

Along with the market vendors you've come to know and love, non-profit organizations will be on site to connect with the community, share their mission, highlight their programs and services, and inspire others to get involved!

Groups like Cherokee County Relay for Life, Etowah Arts, Georgia Dog Advocates, Canton Ga. Lions Club, and so many more, are excited for the opportunity to connect and share how you too can have an impact in our community!

Why support us? Here are some ways that Canton Lions Club serves our community:

- We provide comprehensive vision screening services for Cherokee County School District (CCSD) schools, select private preschools, and the Cherokee County Detention Center.

- We support summer camps for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

- We raise funds to support the Canton Police Department’s “Shop with a Cop” program, benefiting underserved children during the holiday season.

- We sponsor Star Student Awards scholarships and recognize outstanding high school students each February.

- We promote participation in the Lions Clubs International Peace Poster Contest in local middle schools to depict the International Lions Peace theme of the year. The 2026 theme is "Harmony in Humanity".

- We supply and maintain sophisticated camera equipment for vision screening programs throughout our community.
- We support Diabetes Awareness initiatives.

- We assist individuals in financial need by helping to provide access to eye exams and eyeglasses.
