Canton Empty Bowls

Canton Empty Bowls To support local organizations that help with food insecurity by fundraising partnered with artists. Bowl contributions from local potters are always welcome.

Please join us as we come together to enjoy a simple meal with neighbors while raising awareness and funds to fight hunger and food insecurity in the Canton area. A ticket includes a simple but delicious meal of hot soup and bread provided by local restaurants with the choice of a unique hand-crafted bowl as a reminder of the empty bowls in our community. The proceeds from this event benefit the H

omeless Coalition of Cherokee County, Dominic’s Mission & Community Food Kitchen, and the Cherokee County Homeless Veteran Program by American Legion Post 45 in their efforts to fight hunger within our community. The Georgia Clay Council and other local potters and artisans collaborate throughout the year to create the beautiful, unique bowls that represent the many individuals struggling with food insecurity. This event is a meaningful way to make a difference in our community while enjoying a meal, supporting a great cause, and directly impacting those who need it most. Canton Empty Bowls is still seeking sponsors and volunteers to support the event through food and monetary donations or by assisting with one of the many tasks needed during the event.
