The Ancient Order of Hibernians is America’s oldest Irish Catholic Fraternal Organization founded concurrently in the coal-mining region of Pennsylvania and New York City in May, 1836. The Order can trace its roots back to a series of similar societies that existed in Ireland for more than 300 years. The Michigan State Board represents the state of Michigan on behalf of the 12 AOH divisions within the state. We meet four times a year on published dates. Board meetings are most often held via Zoom, but often occur at various division sites around the state. If you would like to host a State Board meeting, please contact State Board President, Tim Higgins.
