The best way to spend Earth Day is with boots on the ground, participating in mitigation, and conservation!

SLU DU President Vice President and long time volunteer headed up to Helena, NY, back to the easement where SLU DU helped plant a couple thousand live sprouts 2 years ago, and helped on another project of hand planting 200 young saplings.

Simply posting about Earth Day and how much you love the earth isn’t enough! Get out there and find ways you can help! There’s always trash to pick up…

Join us on Saturday for our first of two wild game cookouts! Once again the highly sought after jalapeño poppers will make their return as well as a free raffle for all students! Stop by the townhouses at 1 for an afternoon of food and friends!

25 days until showtime! We’re pretty stoked to get back into our layouts and aframes and chase some honkers!

Another successful spring semester for SLU DU, consisting of our annual Sportsman’s Night Out, as well as 4 of us volunteering at the NYS Convention.

Our Sportsman’s Night Out went very smoothly, bringing in a little over $21,000 for wetlands conservation, with roughly 125 attendees and an incredible crew of volunteers. Thank you to our volunteers from the Tri Lakes DU chapter as well.

We’re getting very excited to come back next fall for another incredible waterfowl season.
