The Renew NC Program has been extended to January 31st by the Governor. This program can help your neighbors or yourself get any damage caused to their Home by Hurricane Helene repaired for free. The link below also contains info on the Renew NC Small Rental Rehabilitation Program.

North Carolina homeowners impacted by Hurricane Helene can apply for disaster recovery assistance. Renew NC helps low-to-moderate income families rebuild and repair their homes.

Last night we celebrated our 79th Charter meeting (and Christmas party!). One of our members, being something of an archivist, brought the original Candler Lions Club Charter for us to see, dated 1946!

Cheers to all! We look forward to a new year with our community!

A fun meeting for the Lions Club! Members shared their knowledge of history for our club and town. It is a good feeling to deepen our connection with the community by understanding its past. Our home has a surprisingly rich history and we are honored to play our part in that today.
