Dear Canby Community,
Today we write with a heavy heart and a deep sense of gratitude as we announce the end of the Canby Arts Association. For over forty years our organization has created spaces for creativity, passion, and local talent to thrive. It has been our distinct privilege to support countless artists, arts enthusiasts, and community members throughout the years. This decision is not made lightly, but is necessary as we transition to new opportunities for supporting arts and culture in our local community.
While our mission is coming an end, the spirit of community that Canby Arts fostered will live on. As part of our final act of support, we are proud to announce that our remaining funds will be donated to Canby Pride, a local 501©(3) organization. Over the last five years we have watched their unwavering dedication to making Canby a more inclusive, supportive, and vibrant community for all. We believe Canby Pride's mission of acceptance and celebration of life aligns closely with the values our organziation always championed. We are excited to watch this contribution help them in their endeavors.
It has been an honor to work alongside so many incredible volunteers, artists, and community members over the years. The impact of Canby Arts would not have been possible without you. Please continue to get involved in your community and celebrate the arts in all forms!
