I am going to pull rank and cancel the lake effect snow warning for zone 1. Zone 1 shall be downgraded to a winter weather advisory until 8am tomorrow morning for 3-6” of snow.

All zones:

Anytime after 3pm is when the action heats up. Torrential downpours, strong winds, hail, thunder and lightning, and yes…even the possibility of a tornado. Temperatures in the mid to upper 60s will plummet quickly through the 40s. Around 9ish give or take, this rain will change to snow. A general 2-4” overnight. Temperatures will fall into the low to mid 20s tonight, so many surfaces will freeze. Add the snow to that equation, and that spells a tricky St. Patrick’s Day commute.
