Amarillo Area Youth Baseball League is excited to announce our partnership with Kids, Inc. This partnership will offer many benefits for all of our families, players, and teams, such as a front office support staff, a team of youth sports professionals, as well as the addition of Rockrose Sports Park to our field inventory, to name a few.

We strive to ensure that every kid who wants to play baseball has a place to learn, have fun, and work hard to improve their skills, ultimately giving them a chance to play for their high school baseball teams. This won’t change, with all programming continuing seamlessly under this partnership with Kids, Inc.

We would like to thank every coach and volunteer who've put in so much of their time working with the kids, along with each of our team and corporate sponsors, who’ve helped keep the cost to play the game as low as possible. We’d also like to give a special thanks to the City of Amarillo and the City of Canyon, along with their Parks Dept, for all their support and effort to make sure our area kids had a place to play the game, and look forward to that continued relationship. Last but certainly not least, we want to thank the Executive Board of Texas Panhandle Youth Sports Foundation for their commitment to all the baseball and fastpitch softball programs in the area, and for making this possible.

Kids, Incorporated of Amarillo has some good news to share!

As of January 1, 2026, the 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀, 𝗜𝗻𝗰. That means West Texas Fastpitch, Amarillo Area Youth Baseball League, Canyon Baseball Association, and West Texas Baseball League now operate with Kids, Inc. support.

For families, players, and coaches, seasons move forward as planned. Teams stay teams. Schedules stay schedules. What changes is the support behind the scenes. One front office. More staff to answer questions. Clear communication. Leadership focused on helping kids play ball and parents stay informed.

We are also glad to welcome 𝗥𝗼𝗯 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀 as Director of Baseball Operations and 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗻 as Director of Softball Operations. Their experience and leadership continue to guide these programs as they move into this next chapter with Kids, Inc.

Kids, Inc. exists to make youth sports accessible, organized, and well-run for kids across our community. This partnership allows us to do that work together, with clarity and extra support for everyone involved.
