So I have been trying out different bead rollers for the past six months and I haven’t found one that I’m in love with. Two are too loud for my designers and one is too hard to clean and one makes too big of beads that we need. So I’ll keep looking if you have any suggestions please message me and I would love to try them.

Another wonderful day at The G.E.M.S. District! 💎

Today we were blessed to have four designers join us. Together, we created beautiful bracelets, worked on resin teacher coasters, and removed lots of crayon wrappers to prepare for future projects. Most importantly, we enjoyed spending time together, sharing conversations, laughter, and friendship.

Every day at The G.E.M.S. District is filled with creativity, purpose, and meaningful connections. We are so proud of our designers and all they accomplish!

✨ Busy Hands, Creative Hearts! ✨

The G.E.M.S. District has been hard at work! Today was filled with creativity, teamwork, and lots of fun as we made beautiful bracelets and colorful recycled crayon toys.

Every bracelet and crayon creation represents more than a craft—it represents opportunities, encouragement, and meaningful experiences for our designers. We are grateful for our designers and their parents who willingly give their time and talents to support the mission of The G.E.M.S. District.

Thank you to everyone who helps make these projects possible. We can’t wait to share these creations with our community!

The G.E.M.S. District is incredibly grateful for the wonderful crayon donations we have received from Buckholts ISD, Di-Hard Fitness, Head Start, and the Cameron Thrift Store!

These donations help our designers create colorful recycled crayon products while building vocational skills, confidence, creativity, and meaningful opportunities. Every crayon donated becomes part of something special and helps support our mission of empowering adults with disabilities through hands-on learning and service.

What a great day at The G.E.M.S. District! 💎

Today we had three amazing designers hard at work. We created five beautiful bracelets that I’m calling our “Neapolitan Bracelets” because their pink, brown, and white colors remind me of Neapolitan ice cream! 🍦💗🤎🤍

Our team also stayed busy taking wrappers off crayons, breaking crayons for recycling, and making more of our Crayola toys. 🖍️

We had some extra fun today thanks to a generous donation of UV resin! We spent time experimenting with resin projects, creating necklaces, and continuing to work on coaster samples for teachers. ✨

Seeing our designers learn new skills, express their creativity, and work together is always a blessing. Every workday at G.E.M.S. is another opportunity for growth, confidence, and meaningful service.

During a brief hospital stay, a very special surprise showed up at our house from our Amazon wish list. No name was given, but your kindness and generosity truly touched our hearts.

This wonderful gift will allow the Cricut machine donated by Franci Denio to finally have the perfect place to fit and be used for our designers and projects. A special thank you as well to David for putting it all together for us!
