The Camden Lions Club
congratulates longtime
member Marko Winters
on receiving the “Stanley
Hooten Volunteer
Award” during tonight’s
Annual Benton County
Chamber of Commerce
Awards Banquet. In
addition to working with
Lions Club projects such
as the Avenue of Flags,
Pancake Breakfast,
Holiday Pecan Sale
and many others
Marko also takes
part in numerous
other projects to
help our community.
He’s served on many
boards and committees
of Camden First Baptist
Church where he’s taught
Sunday School. Marko
has also been a
member of the
Benton County School
Board for over 20
years where he’s
served on numerous
committees and
education related
groups. He also
takes part each
fall in the Benton
County Volunteer
event known as
1 Community, 1
Heart. Marko has
been a strong
advocate of
organizations
aimed at helping
local residents
such as United
Way and Second
Harvest Food Bank.
The Volunteer Award
that Marko received
is named in honor
of Camden resident
Stanley Hooten
who died in 2016.
Hooten was another
individual who freely
gave his time and
and efforts to
numerous worthwhile
causes and projects.
He was also a member
of the Camden Lions
Club for many years.
Once again we congratulate
Marko Winters on
receiving this prestigious
award from the Benton
County Chamber of
Commerce and thank
you Marko for all you do
to serve and help
our community.
