We are thrilled to share a heartwarming success story from last year! The Bop Foundation partnered with B.A.C. Musical Instruments to uplift the talent and passion of two young musicians from Camden,NJ. Thanks to this collaboration they received brand new instruments that help them continue to express their creativity and share their music with the world. These musicians have gone above and beyond being active participants in their community’s music programs including being a part of Arnetta’s Band Camp multiple years!

A special thank you to Mike Corrigan the founder of B.A.C. Musical Instruments for their incredible support and commitment to our mission. This partnership exemplifies the power of community and the joy that music brings to our lives. Together we can continue Bridging Opportunities to Prosperity!

Throughout Arnetta’s Band Camp students had the unique opportunity to collaborate with top musicians from Camden and Philly enhancing their musical skills across various areas. Our ensembles instructors have worked with everyone from Stephen Colbert, Bilal, Tierra Whack, Eve, The Bacon Brothers, The Roots, The Philadelphia Eagles, their own projects and MUCH MORE! With that being said…

Meet the ABC ensemble instructors! Corey Bernhard , Nasir Dickerson , and M A R E . Each director brought their extensive music industry expertise to this year’s Arnetta’s Band Camp, creating an incredible learning experience for our campers. With their successful careers in music they provided invaluable insights and hands on instruction. Campers explored new songs to enrich their repertoire, learned performance techniques, and covered stage etiquette. They also delved into the nuances of improvisation gaining confidence and creativity in their musical expression.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated faculty for fostering such a high level learning environment. The final concert performances showcased the tremendous growth and talent of our campers leaving everyone inspired and eager for more. The energy and enthusiasm were palpable making this year’s camp truly unforgettable!

We are pleased to announce that for this year’s camp we were able to award the very first Arnetta’s Band Camp Scholarship!

This award was given to Fatima Dickerson who is an exemplary camper that embodies the principles of leadership, discipline, and dedication to the music! Fatima has participated in ABC for multiple years, comes highly recommended and actively engages in her school band’s extracurricular activities, as well as being a part of other music organizations in her community. It is with great pride that we recognize this standout musician with the first Arnetta’s Band Camp Scholarship, and we eagerly anticipate the positive impact this acknowledgment will have on her future pursuits! 🎖️🎵

Words can’t describe how grateful we were to have to Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews & Orleans Avenue stop by Arnetta’s Band Camp! The campers literally went crazy when he walked in! And a few of our campers got to attend his show! The impact he left is one that will last a lifetime!
