“GOVERNMENT STIMULUS CHECK INFORMATION
BE WISE MY FRIENDS...
BE WISE.......
So here’s what’s up:
1. To Tenants: If the government says you don’t have to pay your rent and there’s a ban on evictions, you better do whatever you can to pay your rent. There will be major repercussions when eviction bans are lifted. Don’t think you’ll get a free ride out of this.
PAY YOUR RENT! Your landlord has bills to pay too.
2. To Homeowners: If the government tells banks to stop mortgage payments, DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO PAY YOUR MORTGAGE!. Some lenders are saying you don’t have to pay for 3 months, but on the 4th month, all four payments are due in full. Do not take a chance and not pay. Major foreclosures will come from all this. The banks didn’t help homeowners in 2008-2009 and in 2020, it’s still the same.
Pay your mortgage.
3. If the utility company suspends payments, you better pay any amount you can! They are like banks, they will want their money eventually and when all this clears up, you’ll owe an exuberant bill and still won’t have any utilities. Pay whatever you can.
4. If you get a government stimulus check, this check is to help pay your bills. That means you pay your rent, your mortgage, your utilities, your insurance, your car payment, your bills.
This is not for frivolous spending.
5. The real problem is, many who will get the stimulus check....won’t pay their bills then will be crying and wailing saying
“They evicted me. They cut off my power, they repossessed my car...”
All while you’re broke and carrying that empty purse you bought with your stimulus check.
Right!! Its not a free for all people think wisely!
PAY YOUR BILLS!!!!

You remember that feeling? Going out with mom or dad to get your new backpack for the school year. Going store to store while your parents were trying to find the best deal for school supplies. They did all they could to give us everything.
The truth is, now that we are adults, we understand how expensive it actually was to provide us with everything we needed. That's where we come in.

The Bowtie Guy’s Backpack Giveaway

Last spring the idea to fill backpacks with supplies and hosting a community event was a vision we decided, oh a whim, to take on. The Bowtie Guy worked diligently to form relationships within the community to gather support and donations to raise enough funds to fill 200 backpacks with supplies, lunch boxes, and other goodies. At the event we also had games, food, music, snow cones, and water fun!

This year we are hosting our first fundraising dinner on Sunday May 3rd at The Pavilion in Avon, IN. The theme of the event is Back to School: College years. We will have games, dinner, drinks, music, and a silent auction. We are currently working on gathering donations to build baskets or have as many items as possible to auction off for funds. We are also looking for gift cards for the games during the event. Monetary donations are welcome to help fund buying items for the silent auction as well. For the event we will have table sponsors as well as a limited number of general public tickets.

The funds raised at this dinner will be used to fill 500+ backpacks with supplies for our 2nd Annual The Bowtie Guy’s Backpack Giveaway event on July 18th, 2020 at Andy Mohr Kia in Avon. At this event we will have free haircuts, games, music, food, snow cones, face painting, and appearances by Colts Cheerleaders! You won’t want to miss out on being a part of our fundraising dinner or our backpack giveaway :)
