Jack Russell Races St. Michaels, Maryland Date: Sunday, October 19, 2025
Time: 11:00am-1:00pm
Place: St. Michaels Inn This year’s races will begin at 11:00 am.

Every year, dog owners from all over Maryland join the residents of Talbot County for the annual Jack Russell Terrier Race, Dachshund Dash and "So you think you're a Jack Russell" races. Registration begins promptly at 9:00 that morning. The races will be broken down into categories: Jack Russell (flat and hurdles), Dachshund Dash and the famous “So Your Dog Thinks He’s a Jack” race. All dogs are

welcome, big or small, racing or not, to mingle with other dog lovers in Talbot County. This year's event will feature a small vendor village including Coffee & Doughnuts and a Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar. There will be a 50/50 raffle from local businesses, including gift cards to area restaurants, to benefit the local charity! The proceeds from the benefit will go to local dog Charites.
