The Cambridge Empowerment Center is seeking a part time Program Manager who will provide leadership and oversight under the direction of the Executive Director to the Project Upward Mobility Program Grant. The Program Manager will strive to ensure that appropriate and high-quality educational programming is achieved to meet the educational experience/needs of each diverse students unique learning styles.

Essential Functions/Goals:

1. Develop effective, authentic, and trusting relationships with staff, student's, parents and community members at large

2. Provide guidance and support to staff, including encouraging critical thinking among team members

3. As needed, assist in the screening, assessment and enrollment of participants in the Project Upward Mobility Afterschool Program to include orientation to program policies, resources and goals

4. Develop expert knowledge of documentation required by the agency and the funders, and ensures compliance with documentation standards, including electronic databases and paper charts, etc.

5. Assist with preparing data for reports to funders, and track other data as needed

6. Ensures adherence to agency policies and procedures

7. Communicate effectively, and promptly with management, peers, collaborators and participants parents

8. Collaborate with other agency programs to provide greater support and assistance to program participants

9. Always maintain confidentiality, while following agency, state and federal laws

10. Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive afterschool programming for a diverse student participant and families

11. Conduct outreach to the local community, schools, churches, community fairs, etc.

12. Participate in ongoing self-evaluation and program evaluation.
