After several years on pause, the Bible Correspondence Course in Bosnia and Herzegovina has come back to life. We thank God for renewed vision, fresh momentum, and for the many children who have already responded with enthusiasm.
Through this course, children explore the truths of the Bible through engaging lessons, creative activities, and personal correspondence where they can ask questions and receive encouragement and guidance by post. For many, this course becomes far more than a learning program - it is a life-changing journey that helps them grow in faith and come to know Jesus in a deeper, personal way.

“My father has been in the army since 2022, since the beginning of the war. He wanted to protect us.”
Ten-year-old Grygoriy has always seen his father as his hero — even more so when he went away to fight in the war in Ukraine. But with his father gone, fear settled over their home.
“When my father was at the frontline, life seemed to stand still. With every phone call, my heart would skip a beat – what if something had happened to him? And when we didn’t hear anything for a long time, the fear became even worse,” Grygoriy said.
For children like Grygoriy, carrying fear, responsibility, and trauma far beyond their years, Mission Without Borders’ summer camp offers something deeply important.
It’s a safe place to laugh, play, feel cared for, and simply be children again, away from the constant weight of war.

Summer camp is a place where children can simply be children.
For many young people growing up in poverty, opportunities for friendship and social confidence can be hard to find.
Our summer camps give children the chance to laugh freely, feel safe, and belong. Shy or lonely children form friendships, step out of their shells, and discover the joy of being accepted for who they are.
Help us make this possible for even more children. Support our summer camps program and give a child the freedom to be a child this summer.

6,714 children sponsored, 10 new child sponsorship communities “They bring me sweets when they come back… but I wish they didn’t have to leave at all.”
Nikolas is just eight years old, yet he’s already living with the heartbreak of separation as his parents travel abroad for work due to poverty in Romania.
Through child sponsorship, he has the support, stability, and encouragement he needs to keep going – at school, at home, and in his faith.
Our newly published Annual Review shares stories like Nikolas’, showing the real impact of sponsorship in children’s lives.
Together, we’re helping children, families, and elderly people experience hope, care, and a future filled with possibility.

Please pray for the planned Agriculture Seminar in Moldova, where families will receive seed packs through the Seeds of Hope project and learn practical skills to help them grow food and support their households.
Pray that the seminar would not only provide valuable knowledge and encouragement but also create a sense of community as families share experiences, support one another, and gain renewed hope for the future.

“I just turned 11, and this is my fourth year at camp. I love it,” said Darius*.
At summer camp, the days are filled with worship, games, and fun – from morning devotionals to afternoon challenges, and evenings of songs and stories.
But what stays with Darius most isn’t just the teaching. It’s the joy: jumping on the trampoline, laughing with friends, pretending to swim in a giant corn pool, watching slide shows of the day’s funniest moments, and ice cream.
“At camp I can finally taste ice cream, cold and sweet. At home we don’t have enough money for extras,” said Darius. “Here life feels lighter. No chores, no school, no responsibilities. Just games, laughter and the freedom to be a kid.”
Help give more children like Darius a week of joy and freedom.

For children growing up in poverty, summer camp isn’t just about games – it’s also where they learn important life skills.
For some, that means simple daily routines like brushing their teeth and washing their hands. For others, it’s learning about teamwork, behavior, and building confidence through activities and play.
Children are also guided through important topics like staying safe online, handling peer pressure, and responding to unsafe situations, helping them grow in awareness and resilience.
Camp doesn’t just create happy memories; it helps equip children for life.

Mariya, 12, looks forward to camp in Ukraine
Mariya, 12, lives in Ukraine. “Camp is a place where thankfully there are no sirens and no explosions. There, I can forget everything, forget all my fears and worries and just enjoy a happy camp life.
“I love being in that special atmosphere where we pray to God and sing to Jesus. The Bible lessons are really interesting, and the evenings are wonderful – we sing worship songs and pray together that the war would finally end.”

“Life will never be the same as before the war. Too much has been lost.”
Across Ukraine, families like Valentyna’s are living with the ongoing impact of war – grief, displacement, and the daily struggle to rebuild safety and stability. Through our work, we walk alongside them with food, essential supplies, emotional support, and hope for the future.
Our Annual Review shares more about this vital work in Ukraine and the families we stand with every day.
Even in the darkest circumstances, God’s grace and faithful care continue to bring strength, dignity, and hope.

Please pray for every child attending summer camp this year.
Ask that each one would feel deeply loved, protected, and encouraged throughout their time there. Pray that the activities, friendships, and care they receive would help build their confidence, restore hope, and strengthen their sense of belonging.
