My Oh My! Never Ask Why!

I have to admit that when things get tough, we tend to ask why me or why this or what’s next while wearing a frown. Let me tell you some experiences that Prodigal Farm Ministries has had in one week alone. Mind you He has blessed us with each and every single day before and after we became a nonprofit.

We have been battling satan like no tomorrow. Boy let me tell you what. Our printers went down, had electrical issues, loss of laptops, even had a lot of car troubles. Every member experienced at least one of these issues. We never asked why but instead said “God’s blessing is going to be greater than the test we are going through.” Joy always comes in the morning. We have been blessed with three car donations in one week, we have finished a study that is going to start September 11th, and future fundraising events. We have a beautiful budding partnership with the biggest humane societies. Our board even expanded with 2 new members. God has blessed us tremendously this week as He does every week.

From August 2025 - August 2026, we have fostered over 60 animals, our first graduate from our program, five vehicles to our automotive program, blessed to help facilitate 6 homeless outreaches, volunteers give over 225 volunteer hours, and witnessed over 100 people rededicate or give their life to Jesus!! What a mighty, mighty God we serve!!

Where the Lost Come Home

On August 24th, 2026, something powerful happened in the heart of Downtown.

Prodigal Farm Ministries, alongside our incredible partner organizations, showed up with open hands, open hearts, and a unified purpose — to love people in a way they can feel. Together, 60 volunteers stepped into the streets as one team, serving with joy, compassion, and the kind of hope that doesn’t just speak… it moves.

Because of their generosity, we were able to distribute 800 fresh sandwiches, 1,600 cold drinks, and countless moments of dignity, prayer, and connection. Every item handed out carried a message: You are seen. You are valued. You matter. Most importantly, Jesus loves you.

And the greatest miracle of the day?
22 salvations.
Twenty‑two lives choosing hope, choosing Jesus, choosing a new beginning. That is the kind of transformation that reminds us why we do what we do.

This outreach wasn’t just an event — it was a living picture of restoration. Volunteers, ministries, and community members came together to meet practical needs while planting seeds of eternal impact. Healing flowed in both directions, just like it always does when people gather with purpose.

To every volunteer, partner, donor, and prayer warrior: thank you. Your hands fed people, your presence encouraged them, and your faith helped change lives.

We’ll keep showing up.
We’ll keep loving boldly.
And we’ll keep believing for even greater things ahead by sharing the love of Jesus!

🎒 FINAL CALL for School Supply Donations! 🎒

We know school has already started — but we've had families reach out to us who are still in need, and we want to make sure no child goes without. Prodigal Farm Ministries is collecting school supplies for kids experiencing homelessness — and kids at high risk of it — right here in our community, and we need YOUR help!

We're especially in need of binders, pencils, and composition books — along with backpacks, notebooks, and crayons. Every item is a reminder to a child that someone sees them, believes in them, and wants them to walk into that classroom with confidence.
