π‚π‚πˆπ‚ - π‚π¨π§π­π«πš π‚π¨π¬π­πš 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐒𝐭𝐑 π‚π¨πšπ₯𝐒𝐭𝐒𝐨𝐧 Our volunteers come from all corners of the county, all walks of life, from many different beliefs, faiths, and cultures. Parents needing infant necessities.

WHO WE ARE

The Coalition started in 1992 with a group of volunteers from various churches in the county who had a desire to meet the needs of folks experiencing poverty, homelessness, or mental health issues. Originally supported by volunteers from participating churches, today’s organization is made up of a diverse team of volunteers with a focus on social stewardship. Our commonality lies in a shared passion for giving back to our community with hearts towards service to others. We are a 100% volunteer-based organization. WHO WE SERVE

Clients who are vetted and referred to us by Contra Costa County and verified non-profit social services agencies within the county. Client requests come through agency case managers. WHAT WE PROVIDE

Essential household items and Food Program support:
Bed Frames - Mattresses - Bedding - Towels - Furniture - Lamps - Small Appliances - Kitchen Starter Set - Cleaning Starter Kits - Food Boxes/Food Cards

CLIENT CIRCUMSTANCES

Individuals transitioning from homelessness and/or drug rehab to independent living. Families needing food assistance. Dialysis patients preparing living conditions for treatment. Disabled persons moving into independent living. Individuals fleeing domestic violence. Refugees in need of home essentials.
