I leave for Tanzania on Thursday for a Seed Planters event in Iringa next week. During the course of this week-long event, we will train leaders from 65 churches on how to start an Awana Club at their church. These churches are all involved in working with "Children at Risk" -- children who are aids orphans, street children, etc.

The game "Bible Bible", played by church leaders at Seed Planters in Nakuru, Kenya. The leader and clubbers jump and shout "Bible, Bible". Then the leader will name a book of the Bible and the clubbers will jump and shout "Bible." But, if the leader shouts out a word that's not a book of the Bible, like "Judah", any clubber who jumps is out (sort of like Simon Says.) It's a blast!

Mark has been invited back to Mombasa, Kenya, from November 23 through December 7, 2011, to be the guest speaker at this year's Awana Camp. This is an exciting opportunity to serve and to get to know the Kenya Awana kids on a much deeper level.

Our trip to Kenya this past July and August was a big success. We were able to help train leaders who are now planting 58 new Awana clubs in Kenya, reaching approximately 5,100 kids with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In addition, we were there to witness two different women put their faith in Jesus Christ during our trip!
