Congratulations Buddy!

Welcome to McElroy Heritage Farm Buddy! We adopted this guy from Noble County animal shelter today. He is a kind and gentle big guy. He is going to roam the farm and keep an eye on the animals. That’s what he was meant to do and so far he seems very happy. Help us welcome our newest member. So far he has met the cats as well as the chickens, ducks and Turkeys. Next week he should get to meet the goats, pigs, and rabbits!!

📚🐾 Back to school means a new routine for our four-legged family members, too!
As kids head back to school, many dogs suddenly go from having people around all day to spending more time at home alone. Some pups may need a little time to adjust.

A few things that can help:
🐾 Keep feeding and potty times consistent
🐾 Give them plenty of exercise before everyone heads out
🐾 Leave a safe toy or enrichment activity
🐾 Give them some extra attention when everyone gets home
🐾 Be patient if they seem a little anxious or confused by the new schedule
And remember—shelter dogs are adjusting to new routines, too. ❤️

📚✏️ Back-to-school season is almost here!
As students get ready to head back to the classroom, our shelter dogs are hoping this is the season they finally get to go home. 🐾❤️
