We hit 1.1K followers!!!

Thank you to every single person who shares our page, shows up, and believes in what we’re doing.

To our vendors, our community members, and our bass heads — including the ones who drove 700 miles from Montana just to compete — thank you. To everyone who entered the car show & shine, to Colicchie for sharing his story and performing, to our amazing sponsors, and to everyone who helped with the raffle and auction… your support means more than you know.

Thank you to all the local businesses who donated items, and to everyone who stood out there in the heat with us in the name of recovery and community. You helped us be louder than a freight train.

Our 5‑year celebration was an absolute success, and it made Monika Villarreal Tapp and me emotional in the best way. Anyone who knows us knows it’s just the two of us running this — and by the last week before the event, we don’t even like each other anymore. But that’s only because we want everything to be perfect and everything our community deserves.

To everyone who told us we were an inspiration — thank you. But truly, YOU are the inspiration. We never imagined we’d be where we are now, and we’re only continuing to grow bigger.

Our bass competition had a THREE‑WAY TIE for Loudest in Idaho — absolutely wild. And on top of that, my husband and I competed for the first time this year with our bass ride and took home SECOND PLACE in one of the categories. That was such a proud moment for us.

And one of the most powerful parts of the day was the kids. All five of my kids were out there helping — each of them breaking the cycle in their own way. Seeing all the other kids reminded me exactly why we fight so hard.

I watched one little girl running around with a lollipop and the biggest smile — even though her mom is in prison due to addiction. The couple caring for her are doing something truly heroic. And another little girl climbed up on our cooler so she could take a picture with her dad — a dad she never got to meet — on our Gone But Never Forgotten wall. She smiled for the photo, but her eyes told the story of a little girl with a broken heart.

And that wall… it grows every year. It breaks my heart to see how many faces I know and love up there now. So many beautiful people whose lives were cut short by addiction and su***de. It’s no longer just me burying my friends — it’s my kids and their friends burying their parents. That hits different. That hits deep. And that is exactly why we refuse to stop fighting.

Caldwell Police Department came out to support and hang out, and even the community showed up in the Facebook comments to stand with us against the Karens. That support means everything.

Thank you all for helping us make hope louder. 🤍

Thank you, Caldwell Police Department , for your support. People don’t always understand the trauma that comes from being arrested during active addiction — it stays with you. So to be treated with dignity, to be looked at like a “normie,” is truly a gift.Thank you again for showing up and supporting our community event. It really does take all of us standing together — law enforcement, families, people in recovery, and our whole community — to fight this fight and bring hope back to Caldwell.

Gone but never forgotten.
We’re adding one last pose to our Memory Wall in honor of every life touched by addiction or mental health struggles.
If you have someone you’d like remembered, please send their photo with their name — you can message it to me or email it to [email protected].
Their light still matters. Their story still matters. We honor them together.
