The heart of our mission at Fields of Hope is helping youth heal from the past and equipping them for a successful future by offering safe housing, educational opportunities and unconditional lifelong connections. Our Vision:
Our programs are designed to provide youth with housing as they transition out of Foster Care. As an Independent Living Program, FOH gets the opportunity to come alongside
youth who are 18 and have little or no outside options for an affordable healthy living scenario. We provide tiny homes for teens to learn independence after they have successfully completed a transitional living experience through foster care. This allows for more growth in life skills as we hope to offer an environment for youth to have many positive interactions with community partners that have the desire to support long term growth potential for the next generation. FOH has a BIG Dream and desires to reach the mission of that dream by teaching teens to dream big while discovering who they are and how they are individually created to thrive. We have 12 acres where homes, lives and futures are being built; a place for youth to heal from past traumas, learn to live with hope and build a future for themselves and their families. Through many community partnerships, skill building opportunities, mentoring and counseling, the youth at Fields of Hope will begin to dream big about their lives and futures. In an independent, community supported setting, they will learn to establish safe boundaries in relationships, explore their individual identity in a safe place and build hope in a future they begin laying a foundation for. Through opportunities provided in the community to build job skills and other educational offerings, these youth will have a chance at establishing a successful future for themselves and their loved ones. Fields of Hope has been working with foster families for nearly 15 years and has recently transitioned from a family focus to a youth focus to be more helpful to those teens that are not sure what their future has in store. We desire to give a hand up in serving the next generation of leaders an opportunity to see their future through the eyes of someone who can walk alongside them to teach them how to build something meaningful and lasting.
