🦌 Deer Fact of the Day:
As autumn settles in, does begin preparing for the rut — the annual deer breeding season. While bucks clash antlers and display their strength, does quietly observe and choose the healthiest, strongest mates. Their careful instincts help ensure that next spring’s fawns carry the best genetics nature has to offer. 🍂

🌿 Fun Fact: A deer’s ears are more than just for listening! All those veins act like built-in air conditioners — cooling their whole body in the summer heat. God’s design is pretty amazing. 💚🦌

Welcome to Willow Bluff Wildlife Rehabilitation!
I’m Kristina McBride, a newly licensed wildlife rehabilitator based in Caddo, Oklahoma (Atoka County). I’ve always had a deep passion for caring for animals. My focus is on helping injured and orphaned deer. I started Willow Bluff in honor of my very first fawn, Willow. This journey is all about giving these beautiful animals a second chance, and I’m so glad you’re here to be a part of it.
