COVID changed everything. Music programs paused, sponsorships dipped, and our work shifted overnight. But Daryl's Music Makers kept moving---feeding kids, educating teachers, and serving communities across the world. Those years reshaped us, strengthened us, and prepared us.

And now.. it's time. Music is alive again. Children are waiting. New opportunities in the Dominican Republic and Alaska are ready for us to step in with hope and purpose.

This Giving Tuesday, we're believing for $25,000 to launch multiple music programs and train dedicated educators. Monthly giving starts at $25, or you can make a one-time giff that directly fuels this mission.

We are blessed to announce and introduce our newest Board, Stephanie Anderson-Umphlett!!

Stephanie was raised in a Christian household in Wyoming. During her first marriage, Stephanie and her late husband, Kevin, demonstrated their faith by teaching youth groups on Wednesday evenings and engaging in mission work within Wyoming alongside their two children. Stephanie also facilitated women's Bible study groups when it aligned with the family's schedule.

Following Kevin's passing in 2013, Stephanie attended the Widow's Might conference in Myrtle Beach, where she met Teri Cox-Meadows. Their friendship grew from shared grief, mutual devotion to Jesus, and a desire to serve others.

After her initial trip to Africa, Stephanie pursued new opportunities to serve on an international level. She sought to share her love of Christ with those who didn’t know Him as their Lord and Savior. On a subsequent mission trip with Teri to the Dominican Republic, she established connections with the community and educators at Jubelio, a Haitian refugee school. Her aspiration is for children to experience the love of Christ while acquiring fundamental literacy and math skills and expressing joy through music. "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord” Psalm 98:4. Joining Daryl’s Music Makers will enable her to fulfill this mission.

🎶✨ A Beautiful Sound of Worship at SCS Chapel Today! ✨🎶

What a joy it is to see these talented students lifting their voices and playing in worship! As part of one of the schools DMM partnered with for a piano lab, these young musicians are growing in their gifts, using their talents to glorify God and bless those around them.

Music is more than just notes on a page—it’s a language of the heart, a way to express faith, hope, and love. And today, these students filled the chapel with a sound that was truly heavenly.🙌🎹
