We have collaborated with We Feed Raw to offer a premium dog food option that emphasizes a dog's ancestral diet. Their raw food is packed with high-quality meats, ensuring optimal digestibility without the inclusion of grains or fillers. This nutrient-dense and protein-rich diet is designed to support your pet's overall health. Since the 1950s, there has been a significant rise in chronic and degenerative diseases among pets, including autoimmune disorders, allergies, and various organ diseases. Adopting a raw diet can provide natural nutrition that promotes a healthier lifestyle for your furry companions.

Sometimes our furry companions try to tell us they feel unsettled without making a single sound. Recognizing these quiet cues helps deepen the bond we share with them every day.

1. Watch for whale eye, where the white of the eye is visible in a half-moon shape, often signaling unease or fear.
2. Observe if they start licking their muzzle repeatedly, as this repetitive motion frequently points to rising anxiety.
3. Notice if they begin pacing back and forth, which usually reveals an inability to find a comfortable or safe spot to settle down.
4. Pay attention to sudden hypervigilance, where they seem frozen and hyper-focused on their surroundings instead of their usual playful self.

Learning these subtle signals allows us to adjust our environment to help our dogs regain their sense of calm. Spending a few minutes each day simply observing their body language builds immense trust.

Teach Your Puppy Their Name with — The Name Game 😄🐕🦴

Welcoming a new puppy into your home is a truly memorable experience, filled with joy and charm. From their clumsy antics to their adorable napping positions, every moment is delightful. However, amidst all the affection, it’s crucial to focus on an essential skill: helping your puppy develop a fondness for their name. The goal is for your puppy to not only recognize their name but to respond with excitement—tail wagging, ears perked, and a clear expression of, “Did you call me?” Fortunately, this process is simple and doesn’t require any elaborate tools. All you need are a few quiet moments, a cheerful tone, and something your puppy loves—like mealtime.

Teaching your puppy 5 essential skills that are vital for their growth and your bond. 🐶.

1. Start by ensuring they recognize and love their name; this can be achieved by consistently using it in a positive context, associating it with fun activities or treats. It's important to avoid using their name in a negative tone, as this can create fear rather than a bond.

2. Focus on the command "come." Encourage your puppy to associate coming to you with enjoyable experiences, such as playtime or treats, which will be invaluable in emergencies when you need them to return quickly.

3. Help your puppy become comfortable with having their collar grasped by rewarding them with treats or games whenever you gently tug on it, fostering a sense of trust.

4. Be mindful of your puppy's emotional state, especially during their fear period between 4 to 6 months. Introduce potentially frightening situations gradually, pairing them with rewards, but avoid overwhelming them in stressful environments.

5. Lastly, instill the idea that meals, treats, toys, and playtime are earned through training games, as dogs thrive on the satisfaction of working for what they love rather than receiving it freely.
