Our beautiful Burney Royalty in the Inter-Mountain Fair parade today! 👑

Our girls had so much fun. They were the first Burney Basin Days Queens and Princesses to be in the fair parade for over a decade! I'm so proud of them for continuing to represent Burney throughout their reign at local events and celebrations. 🎉

I love to witness Queen Maci interacting with the Litte Miss girls and the public. She takes her role as Queen seriously and she sets the perfect example of a role model to the young girls who are looking up to her.

We would like to say a special THANK YOU to April Thompson, for driving the girls in the pickle!! We appreciate you, and all that Hat Creek Construction does for our community. 🎡

Our Burney Basin Days Queen & Court and Little Miss represented Burney last night at the Intermountain Fair Queen Scholarship Program🤍👑

One of our Little Miss Princesses was there with us, but had another important job to do — performing with her cheer team just before they were introduced! 📣🤍 Two of our other Little Miss Princesses were unable to attend, but were missed!

Our Queen & Court also attended the Intermountain Fair Little Miss Pageant last Saturday to support the four young ladies who vied for the title of Little Miss.

Congratulations to the 2026 Miss Intermountain Fair Queen & Court! Every single contestant did an amazing job, and we loved being there to cheer them on! 👏🏻

We’re always proud to have our Burney Basin Days royalty out representing our community and supporting our neighboring pageants!

Today we would like to honor the Burney VFW as our second Platinum sponsor- but they did so much more than cut us a check!

The VFW hall in Burney had long been the home of the BBD Queen Pageant. After 11 years of pageant absence, almost all of the members were now new and had no idea what the pageant was. We were given the opportunity to meet with them and explain our vision for the program.

We are so thankful they agreed to not only sponsor the pageant, but for allowing us to use the hall as we needed for practices, rehearsal, hosting the celebration in the backyard afterwards, and of course, hosting the actual event. They were excited to be apart of reviving this tradition and were by our side every step of the way, helping us prepare, clean, decorate and clean up.

We are so thankful, not only for their support, but for the reason they are members of the VFW in the first place. We love our Veterans and thank them for their service and their service to our community. 🇺🇸

The next business and person we would like to shine a spotlight on is Crystal Martin, owner of Cascade Beauty Spa.

Crystal generously put 8 gift bags together for our contestants. This was not something we asked of her, but something she decided to do out of the kindness of her heart. Just before the pageant started, each contestant was surprised with their gift and it included things like hair treatments, jewelry, face and eye masks, lip balm, you know, all of the girly things.

This was an incredible gesture of generosity and thoughtfulness. It was done when no one was watching, when no one asked and just as an effort to support our girls and just another reason I LOVE THIS COMMUNITY!

Cascade Beauty Spa is located on Cascade Ave, right behind the VFW and Burney Bowl.
