Well I had to take horses from a person I had been friends with for years. I always thought she was a good horse owner. But she proved me wrong. She lost her job and hit some financial hard times and instead of asking for help she neglected the horses and starved them of essential needs such as food and foot care. By the time I got the 4 horses from her one was too far gone to save. She was skin and bones and had a stroke from malnutrition. This person feels she didn't do anything wrong and that the horses should be given back to her. So has called the law and been harassing me. I will defend animals from any human no matter my relationship with them. My passion for animals have cost me many so called friends over the years. I'm sure it will cost me more in the future.
