2015 Summer Leadership was a success! District 6 got back on the map by winning many awards for speeches, fall leadership presentation, and in the talent show. Great job everyone!

COMPETITION IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! Your hard work, long days of practice, tears and sweat will finally pay off. This is the moment we have all been looking forward to since day one of the school year. Remember....this is YOUR time, your time to show case the skills you have developed in your classes, your time to take home gold! Those of you who are running for office, your District and State Officers wish you all the best of luck and commend you for taking on that goal. Whatever the outcomes may be just keep in mind that....YOU ARE ALL CHAMPIONS AT WORK!

Hey District 6, Fall Leadership is around the corner, is everyone excited? I know we all are!!!! Our Fall leadership will be on November the 2nd. Not only will you learn many lifelong skills but you will also be able to interact with many other SkillsUSA District 6 members. There will be many useful sessions whose main goal will be to teach our future craftsman of America lifelong useful skills. Not only will District 6 attend but we will fortunately be accompanied by Oklahoma and Louisiana State Directors. We will proudly show them what District 6 is really made of. Obama's Democratic National Convention Speech covers some of the more political reasoning for that so i recommend checking it out.

To everyone in District 6 who attended Summer Leadership this year, we are having a meeting about WLTI, Fundraisers, and Fall Leadership Saturday, August 11 at Duncanville High School from 2:00 pm-4:00pm. This is an important meeting that will give you all information needed for these events. We are hoping every member of SkillsUSA District 6 who attended Summer Leadership attend. Thank You.

Unfortunately, the WLTI meeting for District 6 members that attended Summer Leadership that was going to be held tomorrow Saturday Aug. 4th is postponed to next Saturday Aug. 11th due to some inconveniences about our location. Hey guuuuys,
Mr. Perez is finally coming home! He's like 45 minutes away right now. I know we were all worried sick about him and missed him so much. He means so much to us and I know we are all happy he's finally out of the hospital. If anyone wants to visit him at his house it's fine, he will get busy around 3pm tomorrow though. HE'S FINALLY HOME
