❗️Updated Wishlist ❗️

Good evening, I apologize for being MIA this last week. As many of you know, we lost one of our main companions (Sunny, our umbrella cockatoo), so I am still trying to get over that.

We have finally got some answers and confirmation on why she passed. Thankfully, it’s nothing that can be transmitted to the other parrots in our flock. I will be sharing more about it later next week…

For now, I have an updated wishlist on our needs this next month. One thing we need in the next few months is donations for the cost of the whole flock to get annual bloodwork as well as some disease tests in our larger species.

If you’d like to donate to one of these platforms to help with Sunny’s necropsy and histological costs as well as the vet bills for what I’ve stated above, it would be much appreciated! 🤍

Introducing flock member #11!

Species: Cockatiel

This pretty boy came from Facebook marketplace. I rescued him along with 5 other birds that were a few different species all kept in the same cage.
When I got him he was missing some feathers in his head and needed a good bath. He’s now the best boy and sings all day long!

Busy day around here!
Started the day with yard work then went onto pressure washing bird grates and used cage donations, washed all the bird bowls including ones we have had in storage, cleaned the whole room, and lastly took in this one year old cockatiel!
