“The former YMCA is being transformed into 79 housing units ranging from studio apartments to four-bedroom apartments.”

With 20% of units already leased, more of our neighbors are on the road to stable, secure housing. This is great news for the city of Burlington!

Church Street business owners are adding their voices to calls from Mayor Emma Mulvaney-Stanak and the City Council for greater State support. Downtown Burlington plays a vital role in Vermont’s economy, and addressing its challenges will take continued collaboration among local businesses, City leaders, and Governor Scott’s administration. A stronger Burlington benefits all of Vermont.

Business owners hope their direct appeal — through an economic lens — will get a response from Gov. Phil Scott.
