!

This is so true -
We love getting to choose our own projects while having the support of the Kansas State Grange, National Grange and the Grange Foundation having our backs!

Every Tuesday this month, we are bringing you a Grange "Pro-Tip" to help local Granges promote the Grange.

This week's Pro-Tip:
🔹 Every Grange is part of a larger national network. 🔹

When you join a community Grange, you’re not just joining a local family, you’re becoming part of the National Grange - a nationwide, grassroots organization built from the ground up.

Local Granges connect through the Pomona (county), State, and National levels, creating a structure in which ideas, service, and advocacy flow upward from your community to shape state and national priorities.

That means:
🔵 Your local projects contribute to a larger story of impact
🔵 Your voice can help influence policy and advocacy efforts
🔵 Your membership connects you to a network of Grangers across the country

What starts in your hometown doesn’t stay there... it becomes part of something bigger. It's hundreds of thousands of hours of service, funds donated to worthy causes, and fellowship and family from coast to coast.

This was the goal of our event yesterday “Rooted in Rural Spring Fest”.

We want a strong community and one that supports all!

If you would like more information on what “Grange” is please send me a note! We would be happy to share why we love this organization and all of the opportunities for all ages! This is truly a multigenerational organization! Something for EVERYONE!

Every Tuesday this month, we are bringing you a Grange "Pro-Tip" to help local Granges promote the Grange.

This week's Pro-Tip:
🔹 The Grange is more than just agriculture - it’s about building stronger communities. 🔹

While our roots are in farming and agriculture, the modern Grange supports rural and small-town communities through service projects, advocacy, youth development, and local engagement.

From food drives to community events, scholarship programs to legislative advocacy, Granges across the country are making a difference every day.

Being part of the Grange means being part of something bigger than yourself—right in your own hometown.

Consider learning more about this through programs like Project Sustenance (nationalgrange.org/projectsustenance) and the Rural Life Initiative (nationalgrange.org/rural-life-initiative).

Growing From the Ground Up means supporting agriculture and rural communities.

Since 1867, the Grange has worked to advocate for farmers, strengthen rural communities, and promote agriculture. Today, that mission continues through education, advocacy, and community engagement.

How is your Grange helping to support agriculture or raise awareness about rural life in your community this month?

Share your activities, events, or ideas using and so we can highlight the many ways Grangers continue to make a difference.

National Grange at work!

The National Grange today issued statements urging swift congressional passage of the Nancy Gardner Sewell Medicare Multi-Cancer Early Detection Screening Coverage Act (H.R. 842/S. 339).

“For rural communities, early detection is not a convenience; it is a lifeline. With early detection, we can give rural Americans more time, better outcomes, and a fighting chance – regardless of ZIP code.” - Christine E. Hamp, National Grange President

“Cancer’s impact on rural Americans is immense and complex. Detecting cancer early poses unique challenges for these communities as screenings often require access to specialty health facilities, which can be few and far between in rural America. Multi-cancer early detection (MCED) tests will play an important role in reducing rural cancer disparities because they use simple blood tests to find more cancers earlier, ultimately leading to better outcomes. This bill represents an enormous step forward in closing the health gaps in cancer for rural Americans. We are proud to stand with leaders in Congress to help advance this bill into law, and we are urgently calling on all lawmakers to vote yes on rural health.” - Burton Eller, National Grange Legislative Director

The National Grange has been working on advancing MCED legislation for several years, and we urge Grange members to contact their federal legislators to get this bill across the finish line. The Grange's grassroots policy structure ensures that the voices of all rural and small-town Americans are heard and part of the process.
