Your circumstances are real—but they don’t get the final word.

Biblical hope doesn’t ask you to ignore what’s hard, pretend everything is okay, or convince yourself that nothing bad will happen. Hope remembers who God is, what He has said, and what He has already done.

You may not know how the story will turn out, but you can trust the One who is writing it. Whatever you’re facing today, let the faithfulness of God be bigger than what you see in front of you.

We started this journey through Romans with one word at the center: HOPE

Week by week, Romans has reminded us of the depth of the gospel, the grace of Jesus, and the kind of transformed life we’re called to live because of it.

And tomorrow, we close out Overflowing Hope, a series that feels especially meaningful as we return to Romans 15:13, the verse Hope Church was founded on:

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope…"

This has always been more than the name of a series. It’s the prayer behind who we are as a church.

There’s something powerful about the moment right before someone goes under the water.

A decision has already been made: I belong to Jesus. I’m following Him. And I’m not keeping it private.

We’re not chasing bigger. We’re building stronger.

As God continues to enlarge the tent, we want to strengthen the stakes—growing deeper in our faith, stronger in our discipleship, more engaged in the mission, and more willing to put our yes on the table. Because the goal isn’t growth for growth’s sake. It’s faithfulness with whatever God chooses to entrust to us.

As we step into a new ministry year, this is our prayer:
God, keep us anchored in Your Kingdom.
Root us deeply in Your Word.
Strengthen our faith.
Use our gifts.
Align our hearts with Yours.
And help us seek Your Kingdom above our own.

We don’t know everything God has ahead for Hope Church, but we know where we want to be anchored when it comes.

A stronger church. Deeper roots. One heart. One mission. Anchored in the Kingdom.

August is winding down, but it's not quite over yet! There are still TWO opportunities to help us fill the Hope Outreach trailer with blessings for the local community!

This month, we partnered with the Salvation Army to collect non-perishable food, hygiene items, household goods and school supplies to distribute right here in our local community!

Worship is more than the songs we sing. It’s the way we respond to God with what He’s placed in our hands.

God has gifted every believer—not so we can keep those gifts to ourselves, but so we can use them to serve others and point people back to Him.

Sometimes worship looks like lifted hands.
Sometimes it looks like serving behind the scenes.
Sometimes it looks like simply saying, “Yes, God. Use me.”

Your greatest impact may begin with one simple yes.

You weren’t given a gift just for you—you were given a gift to make a difference in someone else’s life.

This week’s anchors remind us:

→ God gives every believer a gift.
→ God gave you a gift for the benefit of someone else.
→ Your greatest impact often begins with a simple yes.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to feel completely ready. Be faithful with what God has placed in your hands, and say yes to where He’s calling you to use it.

Someone else may be waiting on the gift God placed in you.
