Burlington FFA members recently completed our annual Service with a Splash event, an opportunity dedicated to giving back and helping beautify the community of Burlington.

Members completed five service projects throughout town, putting the FFA motto, “Living to Serve,” into action. After an afternoon of hard work, the group wrapped up the day by taking a well-deserved “splash” and enjoying time of fellowship together!

We are proud of these members for giving their time, energy, and talents to make Burlington a better place!

A huge “thank you” to the Garvie family for allowing us to cool down in your pool, and for the delicious food!

Today was a proud moment for Burlington FFA as we had the opportunity to witness Governor Stitt sign SB 2159 into law.

This moment represents the power of student advocacy and the importance of giving agricultural education students a voice in the legislative process.

A special thank you to Senator Pederson and Representative Travis for their leadership and for working alongside our students to help make this legislation a reality. We are grateful for the opportunity to see firsthand how the work of our students can make a lasting impact on agriculture and our state.🌾💙💛

🎉 Congratulations, Burlington FFA! 🎉
We are incredibly proud to announce that the Burlington FFA Chapter has been selected as a 3-Star FFA Chapter! ⭐️
Out of 9,591 FFA chapters across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, only approximately 4% of chapters earned this prestigious ranking.
This recognition is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, leadership, and commitment of our FFA members, officers and supporters throughout the year. Earning 3-Star status is an incredible accomplishment and demonstrates the continued excellence of the Burlington FFA Chapter.
We are so proud of everything our members have accomplished and are excited to continue building on this success! 💙💛

⭐️This weekend, our Chapter Officers headed to Grand Lake for Officer Retreat, where they strengthened their teamwork, built leadership skills, and mapped out an exciting year of FFA activities for our chapter.⭐️

From team-building challenges to big-picture planning, these officers put in the work to ensure this year is one to remember. We can’t wait to see their ideas come to life and all that’s in store for Burlington FFA! 🌾🌅

Earlier this summer, these FFA members stepped outside of their comfort zone to participate in the Oklahoma FFA Alumni Leadership camp. We can’t wait to see you implement what you learned in our school and community!

On June 8, Burlington FFA members partnered with the local summer reading program to host Barnyard Basics, an interactive educational event designed to promote agricultural involvement among youth.

Throughout the day, members gained hands-on learning experiences to teach children about the vital roles and purposes of various livestock. Participants had the unique opportunity to engage directly with agriculture through several educational activities, including walking a pig, petting a goat, and shearing a lamb.

💙💛100th State FFA Convention💙💛

Burlington FFA members attended the 100th State FFA Convention in Tulsa, Ok. Our highlights include:

🔥Wyatt Morgan was selected as one of 100 FFA members from across the state to sing onstage as part of the State FFA Chorus.

🎤Lauren Thomason was selected (for the 2nd year in a row!) to showcase her talents in the FFA Talent competition.

🏆Cash Dotson was 3rd place with his diversified crop production placement proficiency.

🏆🏆Kyden Archuleta & Colton Hess received their State FFA Degree. This is the highest degree that can be awarded on the state level. This is awarded based on outstanding SAE and FFA involvement.

Congratulations on an outstanding year. Your continuous hard work paid off and we could not be more proud.
