Filmmaker Spotlight: Matthew Allen
Matthew is a director, editor, and producer whose work is driven by feeling, collaboration, and a commitment to showing the full spectrum of q***r life on screen.
With experience at Parkwood Entertainment, Mathematic VFX, and Gunpowder & Sky, and expert training from USC’s Film Production program, Matthew has built a creative career rooted in music, visuals, and storytelling that actually connects.
His approach is simple: no as****es, take risks, and work with people who aren’t afraid to step outside their comfort zone.
