💚💛 WHY JOIN BOOSTER CLUB? 💛💚
Living in a rural community comes with challenges that larger cities often do not face. School districts in smaller communities frequently operate with tighter budgets, fewer sponsorship opportunities, and limited funding for athletics, clubs, arts, and student programs. That is exactly why Booster Clubs are so important.
Research consistently shows that strong parent involvement improves student success, school pride, attendance, athletic participation, and overall student morale. Schools with active volunteer programs and booster organizations are often able to provide students with opportunities that otherwise would not exist — including upgraded equipment, travel assistance, meals, uniforms, scholarships, senior recognition, team support, and community events.
At Mohave High School and River Valley High School, our Booster Clubs are unique because we work TOGETHER for the benefit of ALL kids in the tri-state area. Since we operate and support both schools, we have an advantage that many booster clubs do not:

💵 Every dollar raised goes back to helping local students.
🦅 We support our athletes, clubs, students, teachers, and school programs.

One of the biggest misconceptions is that joining Booster Club means sacrificing all of your free time. In reality, if we grow our volunteer base enough, our goal is to get to the point where parents may only need to volunteer ONE game or ONE event per month. When everyone helps a little, no one gets overwhelmed.
Booster Clubs are not just about fundraising. They are about creating opportunities for students that they may never forget. They are about building community pride, supporting our schools, and making sure our kids have the same opportunities as larger districts.
Another important thing many people may not realize is this: the more money Booster Clubs can raise through snack bars, sponsorships, donations, and fundraising events, the less financial pressure there is on the schools themselves. That can help free up more district and school funding for things like campus improvements, facility repairs, classroom needs, student resources, and even helping schools better support and retain quality staff members with more competitive wages.

Whether your child is involved in sports, band, cheer, student council, theater, academics, or other activities — Booster Club support matters.
This community has incredible parents, alumni, local businesses, and supporters. Imagine what we could accomplish for our kids if more people stepped up to help.
