Oops! It’s been a while since we last posted!

But lots has been happening!!!

* We raised around $3850 in our first campaign
* We had our first corporate packing event where we packed 84 placement bags! (Just waiting for the funds to add the PJs!)
* We got our first corporate grant to host a respite night this summer!
* We got on the list to host a bisons game and throw the first pitch!
* We’re planning a petting zoo fundraiser with baby goats!!

Lots in store but for now, enjoying the life I prayed for!! Thank you Forrest Frank for the reminder! Yes the screaming toddlers in waiting rooms can feel so overwhelming, but moments like this remind me that this is just where I am supposed to be!

✝️DAY 23-28 of our 40 Day Foster Care Lent Challenge✝️

It’s been a whirl wind as our family navigates a challenging season of foster care and at the same time battling all the fun colds and stomach bugs that come with being parents. This week we’ve gone through both.

We launched this nonprofit 28 days ago in a relatively calm and steady part of our journey, to now which is the complete opposite. Foster care is bound to come with unexpected changes. This week’s challenge is to reflect back on a time where you had serious change in your life. It probably felt like life would never get better in the moment. But it is always an opportunity to put your trust in God.

Even in our craziness GOD has provided. We met our challenge goal and then some! We haven’t been able to post the last few days because it’s been a really tough go at it. Our challenge today came from a familiar verse that popped up in our Bible app just when we needed it! 1 Peter 5:7 (see pictures). The whole chapter just spoke to our situation and was so comforting.
