The Freedom to Read Act passed the NYS Assembly and Senate! Take a moment today to send a letter to WNY's own Kathy Hochul to urge her to sign it as soon as possible - given the Supreme Court case this week, it's more important than ever that NYS secure protections for our youth to have free access to information through their school libraries.

Ken-Ton now will let parents challenge the content of library books. Officials said school-level staff will assess each book and could, based on that review, remove the title from circulation.

We join the entire Western New York community as we mourn the tragic deaths of Mickey Harmon and Jordan Celotto. Innovators, community organizers, artists, collaborators and, most importantly, our friends. Mickey and Jordan touched the lives of so many and the impact they had in the q***r community is immeasurable. They simply made the Buffalo, and specifically the Allentown community, where they called home, a better place for everyone. We extend our deepest condolences to Mickey’s and Jordan’s families and loved ones.
