Buffalo Public Schools is bringing the community together for a day filled with celebration, connection, student achievement, and family fun at the BPS Summit: Day of Celebration! 💙

Join students, families, educators, organizations, and community members as BPS showcases the amazing programs, creativity, and impact happening throughout the district. This is a great opportunity to connect, engage, and celebrate the future of our youth and our city together.

As we reflect on four years since the tragedy at Tops on Jefferson Avenue, we continue to remember the 10 beautiful lives stolen on May 14, 2022. 🕊️💙

We also continue holding space for the survivors, the families forever impacted, the employees, first responders, witnesses, and every member of the Buffalo community still carrying the pain and memories from that day.

This remembrance is also a reminder of our responsibility — to continue building safer communities, choosing unity over division, and protecting and uplifting one another louder than hate ever could.

Four years later, the pain is still real. But so is the strength, resilience, and love within Buffalo. 💙

May we continue honoring the lives lost through compassion, advocacy, restorative practices, community connection, and meaningful action.
