What a glorious way to close Season 24.

This weekend, we celebrated Buffalo through music, community, and the artistic spirit of the city we are proud to call home.

From our Community Sing on Friday to Voices of the Queen City on Sunday, we were reminded of the power of live music to bring people together. Thank you to everyone who attended, sang with us, supported us, and helped make this finale so meaningful.

Celebrating Buffalo’s musical heritage through the work of artists connected to the Queen City, alongside a world premiere, beloved favorites, and a little Goo Goo Dolls nostalgia, felt like the perfect way to end the season.

A special thank you to composers Robert Paterson, Caroline Mallonee, and Michael Slon for sharing your extraordinary music with us. What a joy it was to sing your compositions. Championing living composers and helping bring new music into the world remains central to who we are as an ensemble.

We are also deeply grateful to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church for their warm hospitality and for welcoming us into such a magnificent space.

Season 24 may be over, but Season 25 is already taking shape, and we cannot wait to share what is ahead. Stay connected. There is much more to come.

Here’s to Buffalo.
Here’s to music.
And here’s to what comes next.

From this, ➡️ to concert black.

As we prepare to perform Iris tomorrow, we’re taking a quick trip back to the Vocális 90s era.

Some things have changed.
But the love of music? Still here.
Always.

Come celebrate Buffalo’s musical legacy with us tomorrow at Voices of the Queen City.

Last night reminded us exactly why music matters.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Community Sing and filled the room with warmth, joy, and music.

Seeing Buffalo come together like that is incredibly special.

Now, one more sleep until Voices of the Queen City.

Tomorrow we celebrate Buffalo through music, community, nostalgia, and the artists who helped shape this city.

We cannot wait.

If you grew up in the 90s, there is a very good chance the Goo Goo Dolls were part of the soundtrack of your life.

Maybe it was blasting through car speakers with the windows down.
Maybe it was a burned CD in your Discman.
Maybe Iris still immediately transports you back to a very specific moment in time.

As part of Voices of the Queen City, Vocális Chamber Choir will perform a brand new arrangement of Iris as we celebrate Buffalo’s incredible musical legacy.

So naturally, we have to ask…

What was peak 90s YOU like?

Drop a photo in the comments. Bonus points for frosted tips, chain wallets, butterfly clips, or aggressively oversized jeans.

And tag the person you’d absolutely have shared your CD binder with in 1998.
