It just breaks our hearts….
Seeing toppled stones like this at Historic Concordia Cemetery. The volunteers here work so hard to maintain these grounds, but are unable to right these heavy stones manually. Additionally, the Fellowship of the Dig works all season to collect and share the information we find and these stones are lying face-down, so the information cannot be seen.
To help us fix this, we need your help. We need a piece of equipment – an aluminum frame and winch –that will allow us to raise toppled stones. So, on this Giving Tuesday, we are appealing to our friends and supporters to please donate whatever you can to help us raise the funds to acquire this equipment.
