Camp camp camp! Monday kicks off our 4th year of Kids at the Helm Maritime Adventure Camp! Five days of sailing, kayaking, rowing, hiking and much, much more with nine of our partner schools in Buffalo.

We are excited to announce Great Lakes Explorers, a new program in partnership with East Hill Foundation. BUOE educators will work with 15 Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northtowns "Leaders in Training" students to engage them in hands-on Great Lakes learning including water chemistry, biology, ecology, watershed science and on-water science learning based at the East Hill facility on the Niagara River! Many thanks to the East Hill Foundation and the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northtowns for their partnership and support!

Congrats on an amazing project, Global Concepts Charter School! Amanda and her students were part of our Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Great Lakes teacher training program, in partnership with Reinstein Woods and Riverkeeper, in 2013, and we worked with her students last October on the river and lake. Awesome to see new knowledge turned into such a engaging educational piece!
