Today we proudly mark Education and Sharing Day in Buffalo, commemorating 124 years since the birth of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson.

The Rebbe taught that education is more than academics — it is about building character, compassion, and responsibility. His message that even one act of goodness and kindness can transform the world continues to inspire people everywhere.

Education and Sharing Day reminds us of our shared responsibility to invest in our youth and strengthen the values that unite our community.

We thank Mayor Sean M. Ryan for recognizing Education and Sharing Day in Buffalo and for supporting education, unity, and kindness across our city.

On the night of Sunday, March 2, 2025, the iconic dome of Buffalo City Hall was illuminated in orange to honor the memory of Shiri Bibas and her two young sons, Ariel and Kfir, who were tragically murdered during their captivity in Gaza.
