hbors to SUPPLEMENT their food budget. The Pantry operates a volunteer-managed and volunteer-staff distribution center. The operating objective of the Pantry is to supply patrons of Johnson County FREE canned, packaged, and frozen food staples. We also provide FREE infant formula, baby food, diapers, and when available home/personal hygiene supplies. All items distributed to patrons are donated or purchased with funds donated to the Food Pantry. No tax dollars support this operation. The Food Pantry’s non-profit status is based on its operation as an outreach adjunct mission of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Our Policy is that ANY and ALL persons who seek assistance from the Food Pantry are welcome.

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints did some painting in the pantry last week. It really brightened up some areas that needed a fresh coat. Thank you to Becca Edstrom for coordinating the project and to Blaine, Adri, and Lily Ruby, and Kurt, and LuAnn Walters for their painting skills.

St. Luke's Episcopal Church - Buffalo Wyoming confirmation group has been sponsoring a hygiene drive. St. Luke's alone has donated over 100 pounds of hygiene items. Other churches have donated just over 80 pounds. Today, our wonderful stockers picked up 261 pounds of hygiene items from DJ's Grocery that were purchased by their customers for the drive. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this drive a huge success!

Yesterday, St. Luke's Episcopal Church - Buffalo Wyoming held a "Going Away" celebration for Sid, Marsha, and Elise Parker. Sid has contributed many volunteer hours each week to the pantry for many years. We are grateful for everything they've given to our community. As they begin this next chapter, we send them our warmest wishes and blessings. They will be missed. Thank you, Parker family, for the difference you've made.
