Every few years I seem to come across this beautiful quote by Fiona Goldsworthy and every time I see it- it strikes a chord with me: “I won't change the way my child views the world. Instead, I will change the way the world views my child.”

It’s powerful, isn’t it? I’ve witnessed this sentiment come to life with so many incredible parents, especially those with special needs children. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with families, and I can tell you that I wholeheartedly believe in the importance of this mindset.

So, I encourage all parents to be strong advocates for your children (and all children). Let your passion shine through as you work towards creating a community that embraces acceptance and inclusion for any child and especially for neuro-divergent children and children with special needs.

To all of our BHSC parents, Thank you for trusting us at BHSC to be a part of your child’s journey. Your children are truly your most precious gifts, and together, we can help the world see their unique talents with optimism and warmth.

Wondering what to wear to our Halloween Masquerade Gala? 🎭

Dress up in your favorite suit or gown, add a masquerade mask, or come in costume. Think Old Hollywood, a favorite movie character, or a group costume with your friends. Creative costumes are highly encouraged, but you don’t need one to join the fun!

Our dress code is “creative black tie,” so whether you love getting fancy or want to try something playful, you can dress to impress in your own style!
