Mount Olive Jr. Marauders Football Mount Olive Junior Marauders Football Association is a non profit organization dedicated to giving the youth of Mount Olive, NJ the best football!

This is the official page of the Mount Olive Junior Marauders Football Association - MOJMFA. We are part of the Morris County Youth Football League (MCYFL). We provide Flag football for children in Pre K, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade in town games. We provide contact football (full equipment) for children 3rd grade to 8th. We work closely with the Mount Olive High School Marauders program to learn their playbook and drills to prepare our players to play at the high school level.

After a long wait, the JV Team got the monkey off their backs in week 0 beating Denville 20-12! Behind a solid offensive line of Colton Banes, Colin Scudilla, Brody Nettles, Jaxon Romero, and CJ Watson, Gage Piacente busted a 65 yard run for a TD on the first drive of the day. Player of the game Michael Dzurilla was stellar in every aspect. Michael had multiple long runs, a TD Pass, and multiple tackles. Austin Singh did it all, caught a TD, made an INT when the team needed it, and ripped the ball from the defender to seal the game. James Sacco was locked in putting the team in positions to move the ball down the field and added a TD Pass to extend the lead. Noah Griffin added multiple tough runs for positive yards and catches, including one for a TD. Defensively Porter Piacente made the play of the game with a huge tackle for a safety early on! Banes blocked a pass and was a force as well. Last but not least, Nick Masone made great blocks to help spring multiple scores.

The road only gets harder from here! The team is looking forward to getting back to work to prepare for Long Valley Rock, September 12 at 6p.

Mount Olive Varsity defeated Denville 31-30 in overtime last night in a thrilling game that came down to the final play.
Quarterback Gavin Molion had a monster performance, accounting for all five of the Marauders’ touchdowns. Molion finished 6-11 passing for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns while adding 107 yards rushing and 3 rushing touchdowns.
With just 58 seconds remaining in regulation, Mount Olive needed a touchdown to tie the game. Molion went 3-for-3 on a 73-yard drive, finishing with a touchdown pass to Mikey Rhoden to tie the game. James Kucenski then came up with a huge interception to stop Denville’s final possession and send the game into overtime.

Rhoden finished with 3 receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown. Christian Jackson delivered a huge block that helped spring Rhoden for a 45-yard touchdown. Kucenski added 2 receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown to go along with his game-changing interception. Jackson contributed 13 rushing yards, while Alex Veljkovic added 18 rushing yards and 21 receiving yards.

The Mount Olive defense was led by Joey Koch with 14 tackles, while Veljkovic added 11. Molion recorded 7 tackles, Patrick Nosti had 4 tackles and 2 sacks, and Michael Foster added a sack. Multiple Marauders also finished with 2 tackles.
In overtime, Molion once again delivered when Mount Olive needed him most, scoring on a 10-yard touchdown run before adding the game-winning extra-point rush to secure the dramatic 31-30 victory over Denville.

P*e Wee topped Denville 12-0 in their Week 0 matchup last night at Skull Rock. The Marauders scored on a 12 yard touchdown pass from Bryce Bodner to Jalen Hills and a 45 yard Bodner pass to Shane McBride. Bodner finished 7-11 passing for 119 yards & 2 TD’s. Hills had a combined 83 yards rushing & receiving with the TD. McBride had 2 catches for 49 yards & a TD. Zac Tyburski had 31 yards of offense with 2 receptions. Kadesh Klioua ran 3 times for 25 yards. Ryan Reidinger made several big blocks to spring Marauder runs. The Mount Olive defense was led by Gabriel Cantillo who had 7 tackles & 2 sacks in the contest. Jacob Fitzgerald made 4 tackles for MO, while Harrison Avnet, Thatcher Polise, Tre Hopkins, Hills, Bodner & Klioua all finished with multiple tackles.
