Tonight we celebrated Jennifer on her birthday with our 2026 McCauley crew! It’s fun to think about all the women that have come through McCauley to find new beginnings, restore relationships, graduate college, start a business, serve on our board, and the list goes on and on! This season we have an amazing group of ladies at McCauley and we’re excited to see how well they’re going to do!!! Please keep them in your prayers. God is so good!

The countdown is on! In less than 30 days, our community will come together for Give for Good Louisville, a day of generosity that strengthens local nonprofits and changes lives.

At Prodigal Ministries, we walk alongside men and women returning from incarceration, helping them rebuild their lives, restore relationships, and discover hope and purpose for the future.

Thank you SECC Chapel In the Woods for your generosity! Thank you Vicky for your dedication and love for the men and women of Prodigal Ministries!

When Vicky heard about the mission fair she was encouraged to ask for sheets for our guys at the downtown houses and offered volunteers more ways to support our men and women. They are as follows-

Bring a meal on one Tuesday evening a month for our Bible study at any of the houses, provide transportation to important appointments for our clients that don’t have cars, and light cleaning at our main Prodigal office once a month.

Look what God did was the theme of the day! It’s all about relationships. Building new ones, restoring old ones, and maintaining current ones. Yesterday was an amazing day for our Prodigal family!

Through our newest McCauley client- Shelby, we met Mary who came through McCauley 20 years ago. Tho the years have passed Jennifer remembered the ladies in the house at that time and they reminisced about the other ladies. Look what God did there!

We met a group of guys from Cincinnati with a similar Christian organization that does what Prodigal does in Cincinnati. They came down and knew many of our guys from serving time with them. Look what God did!

And we honored and remembered those we’ve lost and take comfort knowing Randy and John are living their best lives in eternity. We also lift prayers for those who weren’t able to be with us.

**NEW DATE** This Sunday!
We have rescheduled the Prodigal Picnic for this Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Brown House in Buckner. We are providing the meat – Hot Dogs and Hamburgers – and volunteer Tim Boyle smoked up 15 pounds of pulled pork for us! If you can come please bring a side dish or dessert.

To our if you have any items you want to donate please consider Salt & Light Thrift store in LaGrange or go in to shop! They will pray with you and share Jesus while providing items at great prices like clothes, housewares, books, etc.

All proceeds go to support their tuition free school! Such a blessing!
