Two men were leaving Jerusalem, along the way they found a man that had been jumped, beaten, and left for dead. One man traveling was a priest and the other a Levite. Through the parable, one would think the priest and the Levite would have helped the broken man. Instead, they avoided the beaten man by walking to the other side of the road. They were so focused on their serve, they missed purpose. Worst than not stropping, they thought they had a good excuse. They found a loop hole in doing good. If we are not careful, we argue with God through excuses and loop holes also. Just be obedient in your serve, He will work the rest out.
