Make A Stand Bully Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue that strives to end canine neglect and build a bully-breed loving society through adoption programming and advocacy efforts. We envision a society where responsible dog ownership is expected and bully breeds are accepted. All adoptable MAS Bully Rescue dogs live in foster homes prior to their adoptive placement. We work with our foster families on finding the right foster fit for their homes and then provide all necessary supplies; fund all veterinary care; and ensure each dog has what he/she needs to thrive, while we carefully screen for the right adoptive home. Whether you’re looking for a puppy, adolescent, adult or senior bully breed, MAS Bully Rescue can help you find the right fit. All of our dogs are fully vetted and live in foster homes, so we can ensure the right match is made between each of our dogs and their adoptive families. 2026 represents 15 years of rescue for Make A Stand Bully Rescue.

What started as a small initiative to change the perception of pit bull type dogs in Bryan/College Station has blossomed into a major Texas foster-based rescue committed to ending canine neglect for bully breeds of all types. In our 15 years, we have broken boundaries and breed specific legislation, positively altering the image of bully breeds locally, regionally, and nationwide - with our impact reaching deep into Canada, as well. We have saved more then 1,000 at risk of euthanasia in local shelters, and have placed almost as many in loving, forever families.

But this effort isn't a solo venture.
We do what we do because of all of YOU standing behind us.

For our 15th Anniversary, we are launching our $15 for 15 Campaign, a monthly donor opportunity to pledge $15/mo to make a stand against canine abuse, neglect, and abandonment. With just $15, you directly impact the lives of the most vulnerable and abused breed in America, and you act as the voice for the voiceless.

All donors who sign up at the minimum $15/mo gift will receive a free, limited edition t-shirt, generously designed by C. Witherspoon for MAS Bully Rescue.

Well, that didn’t end how we hoped. Despite best efforts and intentions all the way around, Royal wasn’t a good fit for the home. There were lots of tears at the handoff, from her hopeful adopter and our foster family… especially because Royal has been waiting for almost an entire year, with *zero* adoption interest. 😭

Genuinely, we feel like we’re failing her. No dog should sit in a rescue or shelter for months and months (or years - like poor Bitsy, another dog in our program) waiting for the right family. But, we also recognize the critical importance of the *right* match and will wait as long as it takes to find this girl (and all the others) their perfect, forever home.

The thrown of ROYAL(TY) is calling - a once in a lifetime opportunity - and we are failing to figure it out…

Royal has been in our program for almost a year without an ounce of adoption interest. Carrying the weight of emotional baggage from an abusive past, Royal - who is just sweet as Honey 🍯 - has been chronically overlooked.

But there is a soft bed and a kind family hoping for a chance with our girl… and we are failing to get schedules to align.

So we’re putting out a last ditch effort.
We are desperately seeking someone who can get Royal from her Board & Train Program in Lewisville to her new foster family - her hopeful adoptive family - in Jarrell THIS SATURDAY.
