🤯Y'ALL - OUR MINDS ARE BLOWN

We popped into Brunswick Topsham Land Trust's office last week to present them with the 2026 beneficiary check. And in YEAR ONE, we were able to donate ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS 🤯

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for joining for year 1 whether you were a runner, volunteer, or spectator! This would not have been possible without you!

The race may be small but the generosity is mighty! 🥰😍

See you in 2027 and can't wait to see what we can do next year 😘

THANK YOU to everyone who came out today to run, volunteer, or spectate! I appreciate you spending your Sunday morning supporting Brunswick Topsham Land Trust!

The thank you email just went out to all runners and volunteers. The results still need a few corrections - apologies to those with incorrect or missing times, it is being addressed!

David Colby Young of Maine Running Photos has posted the videos and photos he took so you can relive my awkward pre-race announcements any time you want! Really excited to share that Brunswick local John B set the course record at 32:16:42 for men and Abbey A of RHODE ISLAND (🤯 - love that there were 3 out-of-staters with us this morning) set the women's course record of 41:16:59!

Course is marked, shirts picked up, bibs are assigned - car still needs to be loaded & watermelon needs to be cut. But we are almost there!

See everyone tomorrow for bib pickup from 7-815a, race kicks off at 830a!
There will be NO race day registration as we have hit the cap!

If some of the sign or pin flag placements seem a bit odd or sparse - well, I had to place them in spots were the tractor wouldn't run them over as Crystal Spring Farm is a working farm. They were out in a few of the fields last night and if the start/finish area smells a bit like hops, that's why!

Started packing everything up for Sunday 😱 - can't believe that it's almost race day!

There are FOUR in-person running spots open plus 2 volunteer spots for parking. Virtual race is open. It's all coming together for the inaugural race!

Runner & volunteer emails will be sent out THURSDAY so be on the look out for that - appreciate the runners and volunteers who have already reached out asking questions, love when people are proactive 🥰

Still need to make a few more signs, get the water & watermelon, pick up the shirts, and of course, mark the course! But we're almost there! Can't wait to see everyone on Sunday!

Also, am I oversharing? TBD but I think it's interesting to share what goes into local non-profit races that rely on volunteers (including the race director)

IT'S RACE WEEK 😱

Went to storage yesterday and loaded up the Subaru 😍
And surprisingly I did not get beaned in the head by the tall skinny cones 💃🏻

Online registration is open for about 64more hours (as of writing this). Register online before 11:59p ET on Wednesday 17 Jun to join us! There are only 7 spots left!

The virtual event is also open for registration! Complete 5mi between 18 Jun and 28 Jun. Virtual is for anyone who can't join us on Sunday 21 Jun in-person and Grand Prix points are awarded for the virtual as well.

Exciting news!

Marathon Sports has provided the awards for the top 2 finishers for male, female, and nonbinary categories! We're excited to be able to provide equal prizes to our top finishers!

Now, let's hope I remember to toss these in my bag for race day! I'm used to pies being delivered for Farm To Farm prizes 🥧😅
