Let’s come together in prayer and rise as prayer warriors for Southeast Georgia and everyone affected by the wildfires.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with heavy hearts as fires burn across the land of Southeast Georgia.
You see every home lost, every family displaced, and every acre consumed by flames.
You know the fear, the exhaustion, and the uncertainty people are facing right now.

Lord, we lift up the communities in the path of these fires—
those who have had to flee quickly, those who have lost what they built,
and those waiting, hoping their homes will still be standing.
Bring them comfort, strength, and peace in the middle of chaos.

We pray for the firefighters and first responders,
working tirelessly in dangerous conditions,
battling flames that continue to spread through dry land and strong winds.
Protect them, give them endurance, and guide their efforts.

God, send rain
calm the winds that fuel the fires,
and help bring these blazes under control.
Where destruction has come, prepare the way for restoration.

For those who have lost homes, memories, and livelihoods—
be their provider and their hope.
For those living in fear, be their refuge.
For the entire region, bring relief, healing, and unity.

Even in the smoke and uncertainty,
help people hold on to faith, to each other, and to You.

In Your mercy and power,
we ask for protection over Georgia and all affected.

Let us all continue to pray for Brantley County, the first responders, and all the families affected by the fire. May this hardship come to an end by God’s grace.

At this time, we are grateful to share that there is no immediate need for additional physical donations, except for monetary support.

GIFA was able to provide much-needed medicine yesterday through MAP International , made possible with the leadership of our President Beth and the coordination of our Vice President Rachel.

Our sincere thanks to our dedicated officers, Ofelia and Lorelie, along with the Adobo Queens crew, for helping distribute these donations. We were able to extend assistance to Southside Baptist Church, the Road Department, and Nahunta Primary School.

We also want to express our heartfelt appreciation to all our members who contributed and took the time to drop off supplies and clothing. Your generosity truly makes a difference. (Ellen Landford, Beth Bulatao, Little Family)

GIFA: Let’s Come Together for Brantley County

Dear GIFA members and friends,

Our neighbors in Brantley County are facing a devastating wildfire crisis. Many families have been forced to evacuate their homes with little notice, leaving behind everything they know.

In the true spirit of bayanihan, we are reaching out to our community to help support those affected.

Items urgently needed:
• Bottled water
• Non-perishable food
• Hygiene items (soap, toothpaste, diapers, feminine products)
• New Clothing (all sizes)
• Blankets and bedding
• Pet food and supplies

Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated to help families secure temporary housing and essential needs. See Venmo account below.
