Happy National Donut Day from The Salvation Army Brunswick Corps! 🍩

Did you know The Salvation Army created this holiday?
In 1938, we launched National Donut Day in Chicago to honor our "Donut Lassies" who fried donuts in soldiers' helmets on the front lines of WWI to boost morale. The tradition stuck.

A warm doughnut became a reminder that someone cared, and that one act of love has rippled through generations.
